SERVICES

If you think your windows are not as good as they could be, there are a few simple options that you may want to consider.
First of all, you can keep your old windows, but make them work well and look beautiful again, while getting rid of the draughts. This is draught sealing, with renovating being a part of the process.

If you  would like to reduce your heating costs, double glazing your windows would be the right thing to do.
We can provide new hardwood sashes, or possibly you could keep your old sashes and just change the glass.

And if something just goes wrong, we are also happy to repair the windows you have.
No window is too big, no job is too small.
And we cover Bristol and Bath area.
DRAUGHT SEALING
and RENOVATING
2a. draught sealing.jpg

If you really like your old windows, and would just like to make them work nice and smoothly, and to get rid of the terrible wind blowing through all those holes, draught sealing will be your choice. This is also a good option if your house is listed.

By draught sealing and renovating we mean taking your window apart, doing all our magic to bring your sashes and frames to the best possible state, and assembling it all back together.

All the rotten parts will be repaired or replaced, all the flaky paint scraped down and repainted. We'll re-balance your sashes if needed, hang them on new cord and fit our beads with brushes in every possible place, because that's what stops the draught.

And finally, if you fancy new, shiny ironmongery on your windows - simply choose your favourite finish.

DOUBLE
GLAZING
2a. double glazing c.jpg

Old single glazed windows undoubtedly have character. But do they have to be so cold? Double glazing will help you to reduce your heating bills and cut down the noise of busy city roads. And our job is to make sure that your new windows will look as close to the original as possible.

When possible (and in most cases it is possible) we'll keep your original frame. Changing it is an unnecessary disruption, when sometimes it just needs a little bit of attention.

Your sashes will be new, durable and will look stylish. They can be made of a hardwood called Idigbo, Douglas Fir (which we love to use for a natural finish) or super-durable Accoya. Our double glazed units are always filled with argon gas and covered with heat preserving coating.

You may also like to keep your original sashes, renovate them and replace single glass with double glazed units. In that case, if your sashes are in good condition, we can do that as well.

REPAIRS

Whether it's a rotten sill, broken cord, noisy pulley or a sash dropping down by itself - we're not afraid. Cracked glass, loose bottom rails - we have dealt with all these. Windows that someone has painted shut or misty double glazed units - you'll have that sorted.

Just leave it to us and relax.
